Andrew has a wealth of senior management experience across finance, sales and general management in blue chip corporate environments. A founding partner of CV, Andrew has overseen its growth to a diversified group operating across a broad range of sectors. As Group CEO, Andrew is responsible for the performance of the businesses and setting CV’s long term direction.
Mushfiq Rahman
Managing Director
Mushfiq has a diverse background from owning a computer services business to holding senior executive roles in ASX100 and private companies. His expertise extends across utilities, energy, renewables, infrastructure and resource sectors. As Managing Director, Mushfiq provides strategic and operational leadership for CV’s businesses and drives the group’s growth, priorities and focus.

As a founding partner of CV Services Group since its inception in 2004, Ed has been instrumental in the evolution of CV into the broad-based multidisciplinary entity it is today. Ed stepped down from his Executive role in July 2022, as a major shareholder and Director, Ed supports the board in developing future business opportunities and driving growth in shareholder value.

Ian has more than 40 years of experience in a wide range of areas including sales, marketing and general management across a broad range of organisations and industry segments. As Chief Risk Officer, Ian is responsible for identifying, assessing and mitigating financial, operational and safety risks to ensure business success, regulatory compliance and long-term organisational resilience.

Ben has extensive experience in finance and strategic planning, having held senior leadership roles across a broad range of industries. His expertise spans financial performance, commercial strategy and operational efficiency. As CFO, Ben leads CV’s financial operations and planning, supporting sustainable growth and contributing to the success of the business.

Ben provides overall leadership across Synchrotech’s business operations, project delivery and product innovation. With extensive experience in modular power systems, switchgear and control design, Ben combines technical insight with strategic direction to drive continual improvement, client satisfaction and sustainable growth across all sectors of the company.
Gavin Spanner
Director / Principal Engineer
Gavin oversees Synchrotech’s workshop and general operations, ensuring precision, safety and efficiency across all manufacturing and installation activities. A Chartered Professional Engineer with extensive experience in mechanical and power systems, Gavin provides strategic leadership in project execution, resource management and technical delivery.

With over two decades of experience, he brings deep expertise in remote and emergency power generation, ensuring reliable and compliant solutions for critical Defence infrastructure across Australia.
Craig Giles
Principal Engineer
Craig is Synchrotech’s foremost authority in gas systems engineering and Type B industrial gas appliance compliance. With extensive experience in co-generation, coal seam methane and offshore applications, Craig provides technical leadership across mechanical systems design, gas treatment and generator packaging for high-performance energy projects.
Terry Scott
Principal Engineer
Terry leads project and design integration at Synchrotech, combining expertise in electrical design, control systems and SCADA implementation. With a strong focus on technical precision and performance, Terry manages multidisciplinary teams delivering power generation and emergency systems for industrial and government clients, meeting the highest engineering standards.
